ACDM mission
The Canadian Association of Therapists in Complementary Medicine wearing the acronym ACTMD is a non-profit organization whose goal is to offer therapists recognition and credibility while ensuring the public of qualitative services.
Its members follow a strict professional code of ethics approved by the Regroupement des Associations en Massothérapie (RAM).
As a member of the ACTMD, you will receive many advantages and privileges such as:
Being recognized by insurance companies that partially or totally reimburse the client for the cost of their treatment
therapist referrals to the general public.
Job referals to the therapist.
The ACTMD and its members share the same goal the well-being of people.
The Association assures that their members have the necessary professional training, competence, and skill to practice their profession.
The members have the privilege of obtaining a professional responsibility insurance at a reasonable cost.
Official receipts accepted by insurance companies are available for members only.
The goals and objectives of the ACTMD are simple: to promote the well-being of each individual by the use of natural methods that measure up to professional standards.
